Alice in Wonderland

This photoshoot was originally supposed to be a Mother Nature theme. But due to losing sunlight and now having the proper attire, we decided on Alice. I would love to do more with this series as I feel it's not yet finished. But it was 20 degrees outside and windy. Not exactly the right conditions for such a shoot. I think come spring we will approach this one again. But these are what I got in the 10 minutes of shooting we did.

Picture Time!

Here is a whole bunch of photos of the ones I love and the random crap I've been doing all summer. I figure it's the fastest way to sum up what I've been doing the past month or two.

Catching Up

I've been so caught up in life that I haven't stopped to blog in quite some time. I figure I'll do my best to catch up. The last weekend in may tyler had another dance party. The theme was cowboys and indians. I decided I really wanted to legit dress up this time. I made my own pair of moccassins, put paint on my face, feathers in my hair, bought a bow and arrows, you get the idea. I was one of two indians. Everyone else were cowboys or didnt dress up. I felt pretty cool. The dance itself was so much fun. We had a really great turn out, and I was in charge of music, so it was really sick. To top it off tyler invested in some insane lighting equipment which really helped the mood of the night. I spent a good portion of my time teaching people how to jerk or salsa dance or just do other random dance ish things I know. It's funny that they wanted me to teach them, especially since I cant actually dance for reals. Killer night though.

The next day I ended up going up to Ithaca again to see Danny. As of June 1st, we are officially an item. Hooray! I was so happy. I have so much fun everytime I go up there. His friends are all super fun, and there's so much to do outside. We went boating/tubing for Zach's birthday, I met Danny's grandma, watched the sunset, stargazed, video games, went to the park, killer weekend. The following weekend Danny stayed at my Dad's house and he got to meet my family. They all really like him a lot. I knew they would, what's not to like?

I've been trying to get things rolling with the whole going to China in January thing. I called up the program, finished my application and scheduled an interview for last Wednesday for over the phone. I was so excited, except they never called me for the interview. I have no idea why! I have to call them back and find out what happened. I still really want to do this. Cross your fingers that I'll get to go to China!

Ashlie and I have decided that we really want to move out and get our own place. I would love for me and Ashlie to be able to live together, however I don't think she's going to be financially ready any time soon. I think I'm going to have to go on and move out by myself. Finding a place though is a bit of a challenge. My goal is to be out by August. I have the money to do it now, but I'd be more comfortable saving up more money before doing so.

I've been to Ithaca every single weekend for over a month now. I really love it up there. I don't mind the drive too much. It's worth totally worth it. This past weekend Danny and I went camping. We set up on to[ of Mount Pleasant, the second highest point in Ithaca. There is an observatory at the top of the hill that's owned by Cornell. Danny's friend Binji was with us as well. The three of us were using the outside power outlet from the observatory to play Super Smash Brothers for Nintendo 64 outside. It was awesome. We watched the sunset while playing video games. It doesn't get better than that. But then a car pulled up and we were nervous we were going to get kicked out, as technically you can't camp up there. A professor from Cornell was there with a few students showing them how to use the telescope. He said as long as we didn't make a mess, and didn't cause any trouble he wouldn't tell anyone he saw us up there. He invited us inside the observatory to look through the telescope with them. We got to see Saturn, a dying star, and a cluster of a million stars. All very cool. It was the perfect night for stargazing too. Absolutely spectacular. Saturday afternoon Danny, Binji, and I went tubing for a good hour or two down the river, it was really hot and sunny out, and then a freak downpour came out of nowhere. By far the best tubing we've ever done. We ended up tye dying later that day. My shirts all came out quite well. I'm really getting good at it. Danny and Binji had never done it before, so there's were more amusing than they were actually good. It was fun though. Very relaxing. The rest of the weekend was spent sleeping, watching movies, and just taking it real easy.

I somehow got a really bad stomach virus, and I've been sick since Sunday. Every time I eat my stomach just starts hurting really bad, and I end up in the bathroom for long amounts of time. It's so frustrating. I hate being sick. Lucky for Danny he didn't get sick too. I just cant figure out where I got it from. I'm starting to gain my strength back, and I'm using the bathroom a lot less frequently. I can thank the acidophilus and pedialyte for helping me to recover. Without it I think I'd be a lot more sick still. Thank goodness for Walmart!

Last night I attempted to go out and parking lot dance with Casey, Devin, Sean, and Tyler. I was way too sick to dance, but I took some really sick videos of them dancing. I posted them on Facebook. I definitely want to learn how to be a better dancer this summer. That's definitely a goal of mine.

Quality Time

Yesterday I got to spend some much needed one on one time with each of my siblings. Michael didn't go to school as my mom was sick and didn't wake up to take him, so he spent the day with me. We went to coldstone to visit my friend ryan at work and we got some delicious ice cream. We took pictures just for fun and he came to work with me. We had a fun time. I ended up stopping by my mom's to drop him off and decided to stay and visit for a bit. It was nice to see my mom for a few minutes. Cariann and I went on a long walk when she got home and had a very great conversation. And then to top off the night, Ashlie and I went to the drive in together to watch a movie, just the two of us. She ended up falling asleep halfway through, but it was still nice just having her there with me. I really need to spend more time like that with all of them. I miss spending that time together.
